The Experts in Pest Control

We are your pest control experts, with absolutely no contracts! We will never ask you to sign a contract for pest control, ever.

Monthly Pest Control Treatment Plans

We recommend a monthly service because we believe that maintaining a consistently fresh barrier around your home and yard is crucial when it comes to maintaining control of the pests around your property. We also continue services for customers during the winter months of December and January, to ensure you never see bugs in or around your home. If you enjoy having a live Christmas Tree, please let us know so we can spray and inspect it before you bring it into your home.

Pricing

We price your treatment plans based on total square footage and your specific needs. Our monthly pest control services include the garage, exterior of your house, outbuildings, your property fence line, and your driveway. We also go through and remove nests (wasps and/or bees) and spider webs. This is also a great option because with our monthly service plan, it removes the need of coming inside your house with chemicals that you don’t need. The initial service may include some targeted interior spot treatments, but it is minimal, and you shouldn’t need us to go inside your home again.

Flexible Pest Control Services

We believe that pest control should be on your terms, which is why we offer monthly, bi-monthly, and quarterly services. We have great prices and low introductory prices for new clients. We customize pest management plans for every house to fit your needs. No two houses are the same, and we will make sure that you will get the protection you need.

Why Choose Us For Your Pest Control Needs?

One of the biggest reasons we are different from other pest control companies is that we will service your house every month of the year, keeping your house completely protected all year long.

spider

Spiders

There are hundreds of species of spiders we target; the most common are Hobo Spiders, Black Widows, Wolf Spiders, Orb Weavers, Yellow Sac, and the Woodlouse Spider. With our initial treatment, we customize a formula for the specific needs of your home or business, we mix the chemical on-site, so you know the exact amount being sprayed on your property.

Box Elder Bugs

Box Elder Bugs

Boxer Elder Bugs can be quite a nuisance, and they like to travel with friends. If you find one, you can bet there are even more nearby. Box Elder Bugs like warm areas and are found near buildings or homes with a lot of southern exposure. The best way to prevent them from entering is to keep your home protected.

ants

Ants

Thousands of ant species exist, but only five types are commonly seen in Utah. These five types include Carpenter Ants, Field Ants, Harvester Ants, Pavement Ants, and Pharaoh Ants. Carpenter Ants are the most common ant you will find in Utah. We don’t spray for ants, as that is just a bandaid and not a solution. If you are finding ants, contact us today to schedule a treatment.

ticks

Ticks

There are two types of ticks: hard ticks and soft ticks. Hard ticks, especially the American Dog Tick and Rocky Mountain Wood Tick, are the most commonly found in Utah. Adult ticks are most likely encountered between March and early-to-mid-July but are worst during the rainy season. They go dormant when it is hot and dry.

mosquitoe

Mosquitoes

There are 50 mosquito species are found in Utah. The female mosquito bites for a blood meal, while males only feed on plant juices. If you live near any sort of water, you will probably have more mosquitoes than most. Although we can’t guarantee to rid you of all your mosquitoes, we can absolutely help regulate them.

Crickets

Crickets

In Utah, we have several species of field crickets and snowy tree crickets located throughout the state. They will eat almost anything, even other insects! They are closely related to the grasshopper, and the most annoying thing about these little bugs is their loud chirping!

Flies

The most common fly you will likely come in contact with around your house are House Flies and Fruit Flies, but you may also encounter Cluster Flies, Blow Flies, and Stable Flies.

wasps

Paper Wasps

Although these wasps are good to help keep some insects out of your garden, they can be aggressive if they feel attacked. Part of our monthly treatment is to make sure we keep them away. Not only do we remove nests, but we also make sure their scent is gone, too, so they stop coming back.

Earwigs

Earwigs

The earwig is an interesting bug, starting with their name. They were named after an old superstition about them being able to crawl into peoples’ ears while they slept and bore into their brains. Fortunately, this is a myth. But, they can destroy your garden by chewing into your plants. The most common type of earwig in Utah is the European Earwig. Earwigs, much like crickets, can feed on other insects as well as plants, fruits, and roots.

Mites

Closely related to ticks and spiders, Spider Mites like to suck the water and life out of plants, causing them to lose their vibrant color. They mostly feed on leaves but do enjoy fruit as well. They are also webspinners, thus their name. Mites can be one of the most destructive groups of pests to crops.

stink bug

Stink Bugs

There are over 300 different kinds of stink bugs across the country, and honestly, some are really cool looking and can even help keep other insects under control. They mostly feed on plants, and while they are enjoying lunch, they release tissue-dissolving enzymes that cause scarring on the leaves or plants they are snacking on.

scorpion

Scorpions

Most scorpions are found in Southern Utah; you might be surprised to learn that we do have scorpions who live close to home. Three of the most common you will find in your backyard are the Northern Scorpion, Yellow Devil Scorpion, and Mafia Scorpion. All three are venomous but don’t carry any major threat.

Our Pest Control Expert, Dana goes on scorpion hunts with his kids to stay fresh on catching these scorpions safely. Even if they aren’t poisonous, their sting will still hurt, so it is important to know what you are doing if you plan on catching them.

Cockroaches

There are three types of cockroaches most common in Utah: German Cockroach, American Cockroach, and Oriental Cockroach. Cockroaches are extremely hard to eliminate. This is not a one-time treatment, this is at least a weekly treatment until they are no longer an issue. If you find one cockroach, you can count on there being more. Roach feces can cause allergic reactions and asthma in children and adults, they are most active at night. They are incredibly good at hiding, spending over 75% of their life in cracks and crevices. Misapplication of commonly used insecticides, including over-the-counter ones, are usually ineffective at killing roaches and, if not treated properly, could actually make things worse.

I know people already rave about Dana Mucky Boot Pest Control but I’m here to rave even more. We had invasive Starlings nest in this dryer vent, easily 25’ in the air on the side of our house. I called around and was quoted $500+ for the removal…

I called Dana on a Sat, he answered my call and gave me a quote over the phone (SIGNIFICANTLY less than $500) and he came out on Monday. He was honest, reliable and did an amazing job. He also did a discreet job of not telling my family exactly what was happening to the babies which I’m MORE THAN GRATEFUL for! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for him!

We had Dana clean our roof and install barriers around our solar panels to keep the pigeons from nesting under them. He did such an amazing job and we are so glad we contacted him to help us out! My only regret is not calling him sooner. Thank you so much!!!
